Poems about my son, my parents..... Always missed.
TIM
How long has it been
and the pain is still here
and it seems no one cares.
How long has it been
since he died that day
and went away.
How long has it been.
The pain is still fresh
and your heart has been thrashed.
How long has it been.
I seem so often in so many places.
It's not really him I know - I know
it's stranger's faces.
My heart is still looking,
I miss him so.
How long has it been.
How deeply I know.

MY DAD
He was myt Dad, he was the best.
Head and shoulders above the rest.
He was my Dad, so full of love
for all people and God above.
He was my Dad, I miss him so.
He's with my Tim, why did they go?
He was my Dad. He was so fun.
We "goofed around" more times than one.
We'd water fight or dance the twist.
I need his hug and "triple kiss".
He was my Dad.
##
MY MOM
Daughter, Sister, Wife, Mom,
Gramma, Great-Gramma.
She was all of these and more.
She was our friend
and gave us love galore.
Little ones kiss her picture
and it makes us cry.
They tell us it's okay,
they love her so that's why.
She is with Daddy now
Safely in God's care.
We miss them here on earth,
but know they're happy there.
We love you Mom, we miss you.
