Autumn leaves crunch noisily
underneath your feet.
See the clouds in the sky
like cotton candy sweets.

The air is cool upon your face
and the breeze blows your hair.
We think the seasons commonplace
Yet each day is so fair.

Teddy Bears are good for hugs
when your heart must mend.
Teddy Bears never question.
They accept you and they listen
to your troubles and successes;
to your dreams and your ambitions.

are a special gift.
Teddy Bears, what e'er your age
can give your mood a lift.

They went at their steady pace
and they earned a second place.
Worked together as a team
and fulfilled part of a dream.

To be friends forever was their quest,
and we would have never guessed -
Now Jessie runs up in the sky
beyond the flowing clouds on high.
There was love and a bond
That goes on far beyond
our meagre view.

We Get Hurt

The more we expect, the less we seem to get.
So we must not get caught in that net.
People may hurt us, we feel rebuffed -
They don't know we need a word of love.
Perhaps they're rushed and don't realize
how it feels from our side
We just forgive them and go on, too.
Father forgive them they don't know what they do.
We go ahead and give them love
and that's a blessing from above.
